A wave of massive rescues in India
A wave of large rescues in India
This past month has been nothing short of astounding for our work in South Asia. News of rescues with unprecedented numbers came in at an unprecedented pace:
The magnitude of these rescues and strong government action has rippled throughout the region, showing that, even amid the pandemic, authorities are committed to rescuing bonded laborers and pursuing justice against those who exploit them.
Trafficking must stop.
The 2020 Trafficking In Persons (TIP) Report seeks to tell the truth about slavery — where it is, how it’s evolving and the progress every country is making (or not) in combating it. Now is a critical moment to champion its importance to your legislators. Will you tell them that the TIP Report matters to you?
Six women freed from sexual exploitation in the DR
After a successful rescue operation in the Dominican Republic, five suspects, including three American citizens, have been arrested. The survivors, including a 14-year-old minor, are now in an aftercare safe home.
Fighting to end slavery
In person or online, host Freedom Sunday at your church — dedicate one Sunday to learning about the problem of modern-day slavery and inviting your congregation to join the fight to end it.
Race to Rescue
IJM supporters, from toddlers to college students to pro athletes, pledged to rally their communities to raise funds to support 40 rescue operations. We're stunned at what they accomplished.
