Your life, liberty, and property are not safe while the legislature is in session.

And next week, Congress will return from its summer vacation and begin to address a planned emergency: the federal budget.

For the past several years, America has run on the Biden-Pelosi-Schumer budget . . . a bloated budget based on Covid-era spending.

You see, ever since Kevin McCarthy, and then Mike Johnson, became Republican House Speakers, they have been unable to pass a new budget.

And so year after year they have passed “continuing resolutions” to keep the Covid-era, Democrat-passed budgets in place – with increases for inflation, of course.

Now Donald Trump is in the White House, Republicans control both the House and Senate, and they’ve had months to reach an agreement on the budget.

And yet we are already hearing about “irreconcilable differences” between the House and Senate budgets, and with time running out on the September 30 deadline, there are rumblings of the need to pass another “continuing resolution,” or we’ll face a “catastrophic” government shutdown.
So another CR means we’ll still be running on the Biden-Pelosi-Schumer budget, a full year into Trump’s term with a Republican-controlled Congress.

And unless Campaign for Liberty can marshal the resources to put pressure on targeted members of Congress, I’m concerned we are going to suffer another year under the Biden-Pelosi-Schumer budget.

Of course, at the same time, we are also fighting on multiple provisions within the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Just in the past week, we’ve sent urgent alerts to:

>> SUPPORT an amendment to end warrantless mass surveillance
>> OPPOSE the gun tax amendment from Sen. Murphy (D-CT)
>> OPPOSE the military spending/NATO amendment from Sen. Tillis (R-NC)
And these are just a few of the HUNDREDS of amendments being debated in the NDAA.

On top of all of this, Campaign for Liberty is also working to get more cosponsors and roll call votes on Audit the Fed, a Central Bank Digital Currency ban, and more.

And now, on the heels of the tragic shooting in Minneapolis yesterday, the cries for gun control are growing louder.

Unfortunately, we have not met our fundraising goal to be able to make every fight that is coming at us.

Just look at what is at stake:

*** A DIGITAL DOLLAR CONTROLLED BY THE FED.

Thanks to your support, we’ve fought off so many attempts to implement a CBDC, Digital Dollar, and the like – more times than we can count.

But now we have a unique opportunity to pass a law to BAN the Central Bank Digital Currency for good, and put the Federal Reserve on defense as we continue to push for Audit the Fed.
*** MASSIVE SPENDING ON FOREIGN WARS WE CANNOT AFFORD.

The Big, Beautiful Bankruptcy bill earlier this year offset all of its cuts with a whopping increase in military spending as the no-win wars roll on.

Although President Trump says we are now selling our weapons to NATO instead of giving them away, NATO is mostly funded by the United States, and in reality, we are still largely giving our weapons away.

Of course, we are also still arming Israel for the inevitable clash with Iran, and Trump this week is deploying military resources to provoke an armed conflict with Venezuela. C4L must continue to oppose the reckless military spending that is leading us into more no-win wars.
*** A RENEWAL OF SECTION 702 OF THE FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE SURVEILLANCE ACT, WHICH HAS BEEN USED MILLIONS OF TIMES TO UNLAWFULLY SPY ON AMERICANS LIKE YOU AND ME.

We can fight this issue again when the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) is up for renewal, but right now we can end warrantless mass surveillance in the NDAA.

All the time, we find new scandals that prove once and for all the government cannot be granted any spying power directed at American citizens.

Leaked law enforcement files revealed all kinds of government officials – postal workers, state parole officers, ICE agents, national guardsmen, state police, and dozens of even smaller agencies – all received training in using this secret database, which they used not only to spy on criminal suspects, but their children, parents, relatives, and friends.

With your help, we can strike back at the Surveillance State and eliminate their unconstitutional activities in the NDAA.
