Subject: DACA recipients will lose their access to health coverage through the ACA
Team, it’s Bruna from United We Dream — I’m reaching out because our fight for immigrant justice and dignity is more urgent than ever.
Due to a decision by the administration, as of August 25, DACA recipients are no longer eligible for health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act (ACA)1.
For many DACA recipients, access to affordable health care is not just a policy issue; it's a lifeline. Approximately 11,000 DACA recipients nationwide will lose health coverage without access to the ACA.
Health care is a fundamental human right, and everyone should have access to it, regardless of their immigration status.
This is yet another attempt at intimidation by the administration, but we know that the power to initiate real change rests with us — the people. We know that immigrants are exercising the strength and resilience of our communities to create a future where we can all thrive.
Through collective action, advocacy, and community support, we have the strength to push back against policies that undermine our shared values and to fight for the rights of all immigrants.
United We Dream is committed to this essential work, but we need your support. Your contribution will fuel our efforts to advocate for policies that ensure justice and dignity for immigrant communities.
Please consider making a timely donation today. Your support right now will help us fight tirelessly for health care access and other crucial rights for DACA recipients and all immigrants.

In solidarity,
— Bruna, United We Dream
