Labor Day is supposed to honor the power and dignity of working people. But this year, it’s about something more: standing up to Donald Trump, the Republican Party, and the billionaires who are waging war on us.
Trump and his allies are bleeding working families dry. They’ve pushed through one of the largest transfers of wealth in our history — from our pockets straight into the hands of his billionaire allies and corporations. They’re attacking Medicaid and Social Security, slashing schools and housing, and turning our government into a machine that serves only the rich.
Meanwhile, they’re weaponizing cruelty. Deportation forces are being expanded. Immigrants, Black and Indigenous people, LGBTQ+ communities — all under attack, all while billionaires cheer from their yachts.
This is not a government by and for the people. It’s a billionaire takeover. And we cannot let it stand.
That’s why this Labor Day, September 1, people across the country are joining together in protest. From rallies to marches to banner drops, we are building a massive day of action to show Trump and the GOP that working people will not back down.
Here’s what we’re fighting for:
- An end to the billionaire takeover corrupting our democracy
- Protections for Medicaid, Social Security, and the programs families rely on
- Fully funded schools, health care, and housing for all
- An end to the attacks on immigrants, Black, Indigenous, and trans communities
- Real investments in people, not endless wars
This Labor Day is not a parade. It’s a protest. And your voice is needed.
