Aloha —
This month we’ve kept you updated on the progress that Governor Josh Green and his administration have made on the issues that matter most to the people of Hawaii — in a new policy report titled “Results for our People” detailing results on our biggest challenges, including:
- Cost of living: Passed the largest tax cut in Hawaii history so our state is more affordable for every family, and our next generation can have a future here.
- Taking on the Housing Crisis: Built more affordable housing by streamlining regulations, eliminating unnecessary fees, and investing in infrastructure projects.
- Reducing Homelessness: Built and planned 30 kauhale villages across the state to reach our goal of cutting homelessness in half by 2026.
- Helping Maui Recover: Created the Hawaii Office of Recovery and Resiliency to bring county, state, federal, and grassroots partners together for Maui’s recovery efforts.
- Protecting Our Environment: Passed the Climate Impact Fee so visitors to Hawaii can help us deal with the impacts of climate change on our state.
- Public Safety: Took real action to remove dangerous guns from our streets and illegal fireworks from our communities.
If you support Josh’s efforts on these important issues, please consider chipping in $10 before Sunday’s end of month fundraising deadline.
Mahalo,
Team Green
