Our general election opponent, Randy Feenstra, isn't going to ask you for a grassroots donation, John.

Instead, he’ll ask corporate PACs to max out. Only a mere 8.49% of Randy’s money comes from donations of under $200.

What does that mean? For one, it means he relies on only a few wealthy or corporate donors to fund his campaign. It also means he isn't running for office with the support of working people who desperately need representation that reflects their values.

What about us? Well, this campaign is grassroots-driven, and we’re going to prove it by matching Feenstra’s whole quarter of $78,637 in small-dollar donations in just our end-of-quarter push these last days of June.

Tomorrow night is our first end-of-quarter filing of the general election, and we've got to make it a great one if we're going to flip this seat blue.

But what makes a filing "great"? We think it's pretty great to have as many small-dollar donations as possible. To have farmers, service workers, and caregivers on our books instead of corporate PACs. And we think it’s great to post huge numbers so that corporations know that Iowa's 4th district belongs to the people and isn’t up for sale to the highest bidder.
