It’s back-to-school season. Please keep our students safe by slowing down, watching for pedestrians, and staying alert in school zones. In the past year, I led the effort to upgrade crosswalks and add traffic-calming signals and signs near schools across District 1. Together, we can make sure every student gets to and from school safely. 🎒🚸 #VisionZero

Team LaCava joined San Diego Bird Alliance on a ReWild tour of the northeast corner of Mission Bay as part of the statewide 30x30 Partnership Summit, showcasing on-the-ground projects and partnerships that are protecting and restoring biodiversity, expanding access to nature, and mitigating and building resilience to climate change.
