I’m reaching out to ask a personal favor. As a member of the minority Democratic caucus in the U.S. Senate, I’ve watched for six years as Mitch McConnell has used his power to try to take away people’s health care, give tax breaks to billionaires and corporations, and block civil rights legislation.
That’s why I need Ben Ray Luján in the Senate. New Mexico is home to one of the most vulnerable open Senate seats nationwide. Ben Ray is running to keep that seat blue -- and we need him to win if we’re going to flip the Senate and remove McConnell from power.
But Ben Ray is facing his first FEC deadline of the general election, and he needs our help before it gets here.
For the last eleven years, Ben Ray has fought tirelessly for our shared values in the House -- a true believer in campaign finance reform, gun safety and voting rights. He will be a critical voice to turn back President Trump’s racist anti-immigrant policies.
