Tomorrow is not only the end to Pride Month but the only national day of giving solely for LGBTIQ organizations; Give OUT Day.

We know that it’s a difficult time for so many in our community right now. As we know all too well, LGBTIQ people face stigma, discrimination, and backlash even during the best of times. Now, because of COVID-19, LGBTIQ people are facing extreme challenges all over the world - ranging from hunger and homelessness, to lack of essential medications, to increased domestic and family violence, to even being blamed for the pandemic. As one of our partners in Lebanon recently shared, “Our community cannot continue fighting for our own liberation if we do not exist.”

Still, we are witnessing our community pick up the pieces, never lose hope, and fight for a better tomorrow; today. We are proud to support and join them before, during, and after this crisis.

I’m so very thankful for everyone that has stood in solidarity with OutRight and our partners. Your support to OutRight Emergency Fund has already enabled over 60 grants in 45 countries, providing organizations with the crucial resources they need to help their communities. Thank you!

Tomorrow, please join OutRight in celebrating #PrideWithAPurpose by inviting your friends, family, and colleagues to help support even more organizations in need. More often than not, these organizations are the only ones in their area, becoming the center of support for their local LGBTIQ communities. If they were to close their doors, the safety net they provide would disappear.

We can’t let that happen. And with your help, we won’t.
