For me, as soon as August hits and students head back to school, it feels like summer is over. Back when I was teaching high school, I never really thought about the fact that summer doesn’t officially end until September 21st. Sure, I knew it, but once school started it felt impossible to keep enjoying those summer days while stuck in a classroom.
Now that I’m in the corporate world, I’ve been savoring these final weeks of summer — getting outside whenever I can and soaking up the warmth before the chill sets in.
What about you? Are you finding little ways to rest or moments that bring you joy? If not, maybe it’s time for a reset. If that’s what you need, I’d encourage you to check out Rebecca’s new article. A new season is the perfect opportunity to pause, refresh, and spiritually reset.
