‌The fight for marriage equality is far from over, Johh.

ABC News : Supreme Court formally asked to overturn landmark same-sex marriage ruling

"Ten years after the Supreme Court extended marriage rights to same-sex couples nationwide, the justices this fall will consider for the first time whether to take up a case that explicitly asks them to overturn that decision."

The decision to get married is about love, commitment, and the freedom to build your life with the person you choose. Diana has always believed that the government should never stand in the way of anyone choosing to marry the person they love simply because of their gender.

That’s why, as a founding member of the LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus, she's spent her career fighting for LGBTQ+ rights, including:

🌈 Voting time and again against anti-LGBTQ+ legislation

🌈 Cosponsoring the Respect for Marriage Act to repeal DOMA and ensure states recognize same-sex marriages performed elsewhere, helping pass it in 2022

🌈 Speaking out and organizing as a strong supporter of the Equality Act

🌈 Helping introduce the “Amend the Code for Marriage Equality Act” in 2023 to update federal statutes and replace gendered terms like “husband” and “wife” with “spouse”

Every step of progress has been hard won, and every time, our opponents have tried to roll it back.

Diana will always stand up for marriage equality and equal rights for every American, but it's not something she can do alone. Right now, we're coming up on a crucial end-of-month fundraising deadline, and we need to show that grassroots supporters are standing strong with her.

Can you chip in $5, or anything you can today, to help Diana keep our momentum going before we close the books on August? >> [link removed]

Thank you,
