** “There is no kind of freedom and liberty other than the kind which the market economy brings about.” –Ludwig von Mises, Human Action ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
Join us in beautiful Delray Beach, Florida, at the beachfront Opal Grand Resort ([link removed]) for our 2025 Supporters Summit, October 16–18.

This year’s theme is “Economic Freedom: The Key to Liberty.” Political liberties like fair trials and freedom of the press mean nothing without economic freedom founded on private property. This was central for Ludwig von Mises and it’s central to the Mises Institute’s mission.

According to F.A. Hayek, “the system of private property is the most important guaranty of freedom.” And Murray Rothbard explained in For a New Liberty that “the rights of personal liberty and ‘freedom of enterprise’ almost invariably intertwine and cannot really be separated.” It all boils down to private property.

Equipped with the insights of Austrian economics, Mises, Hayek, and Rothbard understood that economic freedom is the key to liberty and human flourishing. Our speakers at this year’s Supporters Summit will explore this theme and make the case for the system of private property.
