Friend, in Ukraine, medical facilities and ambulances are no longer safe.
Emergency medical teams are being targeted by drones. Children are being pulled from bombed hospitals. Even civilian health workers are being targeted.
Just last month, one of Project HOPE’s ambulances was struck while parked outside a hospital in Kharkiv — part of a systemic campaign that’s damaged more than 200 ambulances and killed dozens of health care workers since the war began.
Now, with Russia’s latest summer offensive, the threat is escalating again. But Project HOPE is still there and committed to providing health care and support even in the most dangerous conditions.
