Notice of Public Meeting, City of Newcastle, WY, Wastewater & Stormwater Master Plan
The City of Newcastle in Newcastle, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 6:00 pm, local time, on 9/16/25, in the city council chambers located at 10 W. Warwick St. Newcastle WY. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project. Wastewater and Stormwater Master Plan. The City of Newcastle is launching a Wastewater and Stormwater Master Plan to assess local infrastructure and guide future improvements.
At the meeting, the City of Newcastle will present the City’s need for a Clean Water Capital Improvements Plan, strengthen asset management, and improve stormwater monitoring and management. The outcome will help ensure safe, reliable services for residents and the environment. The funding plan can also be reviewed at Public Works Department located at 111 E. Cambria St. Newcastle WY. Based on current cost estimates, the City of Newcastle plans to borrow $ 250,000.00 from the Wyoming Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Increased user fees will repay the loan. The average rate increase was included in the rate analysis conducted in 2024. The rate increase took place November 2024. Loan terms will be 1.0% interest rate and 10 years
