Shifting mindsets, influencing organisations, and driving wider change
In 2026, Forum for the Future will mark its 30th anniversary and as new CEO, I’ve been reflecting on our founding premise: that organisations, especially businesses, can — and must — be a force for good.
It’s why, since 1996, Forum has been building change-making collaborations. We bring a unique combination of capabilities including systemic diagnosis, convening, and substantive knowledge of proven and potential solutions to common challenges. It’s all about enabling you to better understand today, reimagine tomorrow and — critically — build a bridge between the two. Along the way, we provide rich insights and expert guidance on the issues that matter most, and we build your capabilities to navigate change.
Our collaborations span individuals and organisations through either bespoke one-to-one partnerships or multi-sector, multi-stakeholder coalitions. And whether we partner with businesses, philanthropies or civil society, every collaboration shares a common goal: to ignite a different way of thinking and acting in pursuit of a more just and regenerative future.
Below, a few of our partners share reflections on the impact their collaboration with Forum is having at three levels: shifting individual mindsets, influencing their organisation’s ways of operating, and stepping up to drive wider systemic change.
To explore a collaboration that’s tailored to you and which enables your organisation to be a force for good, let’s chat.

Shifting your mindset
Mar Soro, Group Head of Sustainability Advocacy at Bupa, on how the Climate & Health Coalition has influenced what she thinks and feels about sustainability challenges.
“The Coalition has helped me in three ways. First, it has enabled me to appreciate and focus on the overall whole; to step back and see climate and health issues at the systems level, and to appreciate the complexities sitting at the intersection of both. More than three years into the Coalition, I’m clearer on how interventions in one space may impact another, what new issues are emerging, and how we might bring nature into sharper focus.
Secondly, it has helped me appreciate the need to simplify this complexity if we’re to change hearts and minds. The climate crisis is a health crisis and we need to land why a systemic response is urgently needed.
Thirdly, I value the unique space we have to hear a diversity of perspectives and experiences. I find it hugely refreshing to see and listen to how other organisations are approaching shared challenges. We push each other on how we might do things differently, and these new connections are incredibly powerful.”
Influencing your organisation to adopt just and regenerative approaches
Doug Adams, Manager, Member Engagement & Equity at Ecosystems Services Market Consortium on how Growing our Future is helping him unlock action within his organisation.
“The team behind Growing our Future has been instrumental in supporting my work leading ESMC’s commitment to inclusion and racial justice (IRJ). I believe that [the] initiative has the potential to serve as a leading project around the enablement of equitable, restorative participation in regenerative ag opportunities by underserved producer communities globally. With organisational toolkits, a track record of cross-industry partners/funders, and staff ethos rooted in human compassion and advocacy, I believe that the sky is limit for what can be accomplished in future long-term projects.”
Bharath Jairaj, Executive Director, Energy Programme, WRI India on how the Responsible Energy Initiative is influencing the energy transition.
“As organisations committed to India's clean energy future, we have been equally concerned about the environmental and social issues associated with large renewable energy projects. This has to change, and that's why we came together to establish the Responsible Energy Initiative (REI) India — seeking that the energy transition should be done in a responsible manner. The initial work on documenting the negative impacts was necessary to understand and share the true scale of these impacts. Previously, these issues were not explicitly recognised nor publicly acknowledged. The Call to Action report made it clear that the negative impacts must be avoided, if India is to truly achieve a transition to clean energy. Thankfully, REI India is no longer in the minority, and today, there is broader consensus on the need to address these issues.”
The above reflections from our partners are just a snapshot of the impact we’re having together. Dive into our inaugural Impact Report to explore how our game-changing collaborations are shaking things up.
Whether by co-creating future-fit strategies, supporting effective implementation, providing strategic advice on key issues, or convening multi-stakeholder coalitions, Forum can help your organisation in four key ways.
