It’s hard to believe, Friend.

We’re coming up on the half-way mark of 2020, and as of this week, it’s already been 250 days since Election Day 2019.

These past few months have seen Justin Trudeau and our Liberal government consistently taking strong action to keep Canadians safe, healthy, and supported – and even through the unprecedented new realities all Canadians have been adjusting to throughout this year, our Liberal team is as committed as ever to moving Canada forward.

Just last month, that included an immediate ban on assault-style weapons in Canada. Next month, the Canada Child Benefit is being increased for a third time to help families keep up with the high costs of raising kids. We’re investing in our middle class and the most vulnerable, working to make life more affordable for Canadian families, and taking real action to fight climate change and protect a clean environment. We’re building on the progress that you’ve made possible, friend – and we can’t slow down for a moment.

Our progress simply would not be possible without the thousands of supporters who have chipped in this year to keep our movement strong and growing all across Canada. That kind of support is having an immediate impact on the work that our Liberal team is doing to keep Canada moving forward – and you can see it reflected in the more than 58,000 Canadians who we reached out to in our last two Virtual Weekends of Action.

With Conservative politicians ramping up their ongoing leadership contest and promising steps backward like rolling back our climate action plan, weakening Canada’s gun control laws, or to ‘Defund the CBC,’ we need to be ready to protect our progress and keep moving forward with our work to build a better future for all Canadians.

There’s a lot at stake in these next few months, friend, but it all starts with what we can achieve together by tomorrow. We are less than 36 hours from tomorrow night’s end-of-Q2 online fundraising deadline, and I’m asking you today if you’ll consider supporting our work.
