I am honored to be a big part of the legislative effort to preserve election integrity and eliminate fraud.
But please understand: constitutionally, the legislature is the ONLY body able to do this.
We have sued the Democrat Secretary of State several times when he attempted to usurp our legislative duties on elections.
We are also now having to weigh in on a lawsuit between the newly elected Maricopa Recorder, Justin Heap, and the Maricopa Board of Supervisors. The Board tried to limit or eliminate many of Justin's duties- but they can't do that!
That is the job of the legislature, and let's be honest, MaRICOpa County does NOT have the strongest record when it comes to clean elections!
We finally get a GREAT election integrity person as Maricopa Recorder- and Justin is fabulous- and the Maricopa Supervisors try to undercut him.
It's unconstitutional. They can't do that. His job duties are defined by the Legislature.
These politicians who keep pushing for fraudulent elections astound me. They know the law but ignore it anyway. First Hobbs, then Fontes, now Maricopa.
