Three polls in a row show Katie Porter with a wide double-digit lead among
Democrats in the California governor’s race.

Tony Thurmond, and Stephen Cloobeck with significantly lower support.

These recent polls found Katie’s lead is more than double that of the next
most competitive Democrat. And they show a similar trend: Katie’s support
is growing faster than anyone else.

The takeaway is clear: Katie Porter is the Democratic frontrunner. But
here’s the catch: the only other candidates close to Katie in the polls
are both Republicans. That means we can’t afford to get complacent. If
Democrats don’t consolidate support, we risk being shut out of the general
election altogether.
