[ [link removed] ]How many more children have to die?
Hi—
Here we are, yet again. Another deadly mass shooting has left more
families grieving their loved ones, and more children traumatized by a
completely preventable act of gun violence.
This morning, a gunman likely armed with a rifle targeted Annunciation
Catholic Church and School in Minneapolis, where he fired dozens of
rounds, killing multiple people and wounding many more. Details are still
emerging, but at least two families are mourning their children.
This isn't normal, and it's not inevitable. It's a choice our lawmakers
make every single day when they prioritize the gun lobby's agenda over our
children's lives.
This mass shooting appears to have been carried out with an assault
weapon, which allowed the shooter to fire rounds as quickly as possible.
How many more children have to die before our lawmakers take action to ban
these weapons of war? [ [link removed] ]Send a message urging your federal lawmakers to
pass an assault weapons ban NOW.

We shouldn't have to live like this. Our children should be able to go to
school without fearing for their lives. People should be able to gather at
their house of worship without being gunned down.
Having to contend with these senseless, preventable acts of violence never
gets easier. So it shouldn't be easy for our lawmakers to look away.

Thank you for being a part of this fight.
