Donald Trump’s deployment of the National Guard is not about crime or law and order…it’s about control.

There are no violent protests in Los Angeles. Violent crime is at a 30-year low in Washington, D.C. Yet Trump has activated thousands of Guardsmen in both these cities – and taken over the DC police force.

And he’s not stopping there. He wants to deploy troops in blue cities across the country, against the wishes of local governments, law enforcement, and local residents.

Let me be clear: this is another sign of creeping fascism in our country. And we must stop it before it’s too late.

Democrats in Congress plan to fight Trump’s deployment of the National Guard when Congress returns. But we need your help. We need to put a check on Trump in the upcoming midterms – and we can only do that by taking back the House.
