John,

This morning in a 5-4 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a common-sense pro-life law from Louisiana that requires basic health standards for abortion clinics. Chief Justice John Roberts joined the four liberal justices, despite previously appearing to support similar common-sense health standards for abortion clinics in a Texas case.

Texas Values signed onto a legal amicus brief supporting the Louisiana law, which was similar to a pro-life law we had worked to pass here in Texas.

The evidence provided in this case proves one thing, the abortion industry is about killing babies without regard to the health and safety of the mother. This decision leaves no doubt, the Supreme Court considers itself the Supreme Legislature, and it’s time all of us stand up and say enough!

Our Texas Values team remains 100% committed to advancing the pro-life cause and working to end abortion.

We are in the final hours of our fiscal year that ends TOMORROW on June 30 – help us fight for life with a gift today>>>

Thanks to several of our generous supporters, a $30,000 Matching Challenge will ensure your gift’s impact is still DOUBLED!

And while the U.S. Supreme Court got it wrong again, I am excited to share some good news from Texas. On Friday, the Texas Supreme Court issued a landmark victory for parental rights in the Relator C.J.C case allowing a biological father to retain custody of his daughter.

As we argued in our legal brief in the case supporting the father, if courts begin requiring fathers to share their parent privileges with other men who have no familial relationship with their child, then the status of fatherhood becomes diminished—and so do the incentives of men to become fathers and to fulfill their duties.

Despite the inevitable ups and downs that come, our Texas Values team is hard at work every day defending the unborn, protecting Texas families, and defending Texas children.

No matter what the courts or our culture says, our commitment to defend and protect biblical values in Texas remains steadfast.

John, I am relying on our faithful Texas Values supporters, like you, to help us meet the unprecedented challenges before us.

Will you reaffirm your commitment to protect life, marriage & family, and freedom with a tax-deductible gift today?
