Here in Pittsburgh, riders are facing devastating cuts: slashing routes by 35%, eliminating service after 11pm, and increasing fares. Transit agencies all across the Commonwealth are feeling the pinch. In Philadelphia, SEPTA started a series of deep service cuts and fare increases.
This isn’t just about buses and trains. It’s about whether seniors can get to the doctor, whether workers can get to their jobs, whether students can get to school.
