Hi John xxxxxx,

National studies continue to rank Oklahoma as one of the worst states (if not THE worst state) for women. Oklahoma has the highest rates of domestic violence and the worst maternal death rates nationwide. They have one of the strictest abortion bans in the country, with no exceptions for rape or incest. Most recently, in the aftermath of Trump’s so-called Big Beautiful Bill, over half of Oklahoma's rural hospitals are at risk of closing.

Unsurprisingly, they are among the states with the lowest women’s representation in their state government. We are working to change that, which is why we are thrilled to officially announce a very exciting endorsement:

We are proud to endorse Cyndi Munson for GOVERNOR of Oklahoma!

Cyndi flipped a majority Republican district and kept it for the last 10 years while increasing her margins election after election. She accomplished this by knocking on doors, having honest conversations, and staying true to her values.

As women across Oklahoma endure harsh conditions inflicted on them by their majority-male government, we can help make an actual difference for them in their state. Now is the time to rush EARLY support to ensure Cyndi’s campaign can keep up momentum through 2026. Will you help us bring pro-women leadership to Oklahoma by rushing a split donation of $20.25 or more today? →

As Governor, Cyndi will repeal the abortion ban in her state. As she has been traveling across the state meeting with voters, she’s found that voters on both sides of the aisle feel that the current anti-abortion laws do not meet their values and instead prevent women from getting the care they need.

Additionally, birth control is at risk (!!!). While debating a bill to make it easier for women to obtain contraceptives, an OK Republican State Senator, Dusty Deevers, stated that birth control “induces the abortion or murder of a human embryo” and argued that women’s brains shrink while on birth control. This is one of the men making laws about women’s bodies in Oklahoma. 🤯

Women need a champion in Oklahoma. According to the 2024 March of Dimes report, 51.9% of Oklahomans do not have access to maternity healthcare, and an additional 18.2% have low/moderate access to healthcare.

As Governor, Cyndi wants to increase access to maternity healthcare for women across the state, and fully eliminate these healthcare deserts through legislation that would support increased funding for hospitals and assist in the recruitment of doctors who specialize in women’s healthcare.

Here’s the thing: We’ve seen Democratic Governors win in “red” states – despite having Republican supermajorities in their State Houses and Senate chambers. Kentucky and Kansas, for example, both elected popular Democratic Governors. Cyndi has been building the momentum needed in her state to get the job done. If anyone can do it, it’s her.

Cyndi will serve as a deeply needed champion for the women of her state. You can rush critical early support by chipping in a split $20.25 or more contribution between Her Bold Move and Cyndi’s campaign today. → [link removed]

Her Bold Move

Her Bold Move is the fastest-growing support network for women running for political office in America. As dangerous laws about women get passed in states with the lowest numbers of women in government (11%, 12%....), we're BREAKING the male supermajorities across those states.

Because men shouldn't be making laws about women's bodies.
