"People are facing tremendous difficulties, with a sharp decline in food availability. Many have lost their sources of income due to the war, and unemployment is widespread. The lack of shelter and any hope for a stable future is making things even worse. Every day, despair and hopelessness grow as people try to survive in such harsh conditions."

Meanwhile, government funding cuts earlier this year are making it even tougher for people in these dire situations to get the help they need to survive.
