Thanks to J.D. Scholten, Steve King -- an openly xenophobic, racist represenative -- won’t be in Congress next year.
But we have a choice to make.
Do you want J.D. Scholten fighting for rural and working-class Americans or do you want a career politician selling his vote to the highest bidder?
With Steve King out, the Republicans have replaced him with Randy Feenstra -- who actually believes that King didn't go far enough in supporting Donald Trump's disastrous policies.
Feenstra is in deep with special interests and big corporate donors too.
He has raised $925,849 for his campaign, but only $78,627 -- just over 8% -- came from donations of $200 or less! That means about 90% of his contributions are from big donors and special interests.
J.D. Scholten?
He rejects corporate PAC donations and has the kind of values the people of Iowa’s 4th district can be proud of. He’s running on transitioning to universal healthcare, expanding Social Security, revitalizing rural communities, and enforcing antitrust laws to take monopoly power away from multinational agriculture corporations.
But J.D. Scholten needs our help. His campaign is trying to raise another $78,627 from grassroots supporters before the first FEC deadline of the general election to show Randy Feenstra that the people are going to beat him in November.
If you stand with the Six PAC's work electing strong, rural progressives like J.D. Scholten, will you please rush a donation of $5 or more to help his campaign before Tuesday's deadline at midnight?
Thank you,
-- The Six PAC
The Six PAC is a Federal PAC created to support six carefully selected rural and progressive Democrats. We will focus on candidates who need early money, who face tough primaries against establishment candidates, and who are committed to building power for their community.
