In recent months we’ve seen how elected officials at the state, local, and
federal level work to systematically suppress the vote across the country.

We’ve seen outrageously long lines, malfunctioning machines, and closed
polling locations in states from Georgia to Wisconsin. It’s clear we need
to do everything we can to protect Americans’ right to vote, especially in
this critical election year.

That’s why DFA has launched our new Protect America’s Vote campaign. We
need to fight voter suppression on all fronts by registering new voters,
fighting to expand vote-by-mail, working with candidates to set up voter
protection teams, and supporting voters with the guidance they need to
navigate laws set up to deny their ability to vote.
