Every day, Donald Trump is bringing our country closer and closer to a fascist regime. As he destroys our democracy, the GOP is cheering him on—but I won’t stay quiet while he ignores our Constitution.

Just this week, the president said that “a lot of people want a dictator.” If this isn’t a direct threat to our democracy, I don’t know what is.

The president has militarized our nation’s capital, taking over their police force and deploying the military to walk the streets. While he destroys Washington, DC, he has made it clear that he is coming to New York City soon.

On top of that, Trump has been systematically firing anyone who disagrees with him, most recently a Federal Reserve Board Governor, Lisa Cook.
