Hey, it’s Josh Stein, Governor of North Carolina.

I’m reaching out today because I’m deeply concerned about the destruction Donald Trump and Republicans in Washington are causing. Last month, they passed an outrageous bill that cuts a trillion dollars from Medicaid and could strip 17 million Americans of their health care.

The federal government has abandoned our people, but we Democratic governors are working day and night to deliver real results and protect access to life saving care.

So I’m asking today, will you add your name now to stand with Dem govs as we work to push back against the Trump Administration’s dangerous attacks on our health care? I’m seeking at least 10,000 signatures before midnight, and I hope I can count on you to be one of them.

Team, so much is at risk thanks to Trump and the GOP’s actions.

They have fueled inflation, slashed SNAP and Medicaid benefits, forced key government agencies to shutter, ended environmental protections, and taken other drastic measures that will harm communities in North Carolina and across the country.

It’s never been more important to elect leaders who will prioritize building an economy that works for everyone, expanding health care access, making sure no American goes hungry, and protecting our rights.

We’re facing two critical governors’ races this November and with 36 more on the ballot in 2026, we need to elect strong Democrats who will continue the fight to protect our health care.

But we can’t do this without supporters like you.
