Trump is promising to end mail-in voting, he’s threatening election workers, and he’s pressuring Republican-led states to gerrymander their congressional maps so he can steal the 2026 midterm elections before a single vote is cast.
Why is he doing this? Because he knows Republicans will lose control of Congress in 2026. Americans are fed up with Trump’s cost-of-living increases, his draconian round-ups of innocent immigrants, and his attempts to dismantle our democracy. We want to have a check on his power as President, but he’s doing everything he can to prevent it.
The 19th Amendment was hard-won and set us on the path to building a country that works for everyone. But that progress is at risk as Trump attacks our ability to cast a ballot and hold fair elections.
