Dear A.,

Israel is continuing to increase the military pressure on Hamas to free the 50 remaining hostages and surrender power in Gaza.

The IDF announced today that it has dismantled two more of Hamas' offensive tunnel routes, killing dozens of terrorists in the process.

"One [tunnel] had exit shafts, weapons, food and even living quarters, it was sealed permanently with concrete. The other stretched for hundreds of meters underground and was dismantled as well," IDF International Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani

Meanwhile, at a White House cabinet meeting today, U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff

said that he hopes the Gaza war will end by the end of the year.

Witkoff added that, “We are negotiating multiple entries” of countries into the Abraham Accords, and that he also expects progress on the Iran file by the end of the year.

Hamas is prolonging the suffering of Israelis and Palestinians. The war could end tomorrow if Hamas releases the hostages, lays down its arms and relinquishes power.

America and international community must increase the pressure on Hamas to release all the hostages and surrender.

The son of a Hamas co-founder, Mosab Hassan Yousef knows the terrorist group firsthand.

He has been a voice of moral clarity since he defected from Hamas, but has reemerged after October 7 to defend the Jewish state's moral war against Hamas.

"After October 7th happened, I had a choice to stay in my quiet place or come back into this mess. And I had no choice but to do this," he says in the interview.

No agreement reached ahead of Iran nuclear sanctions deadline

Five days before the de facto deadline to implement "snapback" nuclear sanctions against Iran, European and Iranian officials met in Geneva to discuss a path forward.

Barak Ravid

reports that the meeting ended without progress, increasing the likelihood that Europeans will initiate snapback sanctions before they expire in the coming weeks.

"According to the ultimatum of the European powers, the Iranians must agree to resume negotiations with the U.S. on a nuclear deal, allow U.N. inspectors access to the nuclear facilities damaged in the Israeli strike and to the stockpile of uranium enriched to 60 percent that remains in Iran's hands," Ravid reports.

America must increase the pressure on Iran, including through maximum economic pressure and supporting the immediate imposition of snapback sanctions at the U.N. Security Council.
