As you know by now, we set a lot of goals on this campaign. This month is no different, so we wanted to explain why we chose our latest goal of reaching 3,000,000 donations this quarter ‑‑ and why it’s so important that we meet it by tomorrow.

When President Obama himself told everyone at last week’s grassroots fundraiser, “This is serious business. Whatever you’ve done so far is not enough,” he was talking to everyone who’s part of this campaign ‑‑ including the Biden HQ staff.

After such an inspiring event, we knew we had to set an ambitious goal, and we knew Joe Biden’s grassroots supporters would rise to the challenge. So, instead of setting a dollar amount we needed to raise, we’re focused on how many people step up this quarter to power this movement.

Look, this is a grassroots campaign. We can’t beat Donald Trump and elect Joe Biden without you in this fight with us.
