I am absolutely livid, John.

Gov. Brian Kemp announced yesterday that he’s planning to send members of the Georgia National Guard to aid ICE operations.

At a time when Georgians are struggling to afford groceries, gas, rent, and childcare, the governor shouldn’t be wasting his time playing partisan politics with the president.

It’s more critical than ever that we don’t let the progress we’ve made in Georgia slip through our fingers. Georgia has gone blue before, and can again – but it’s on every single one of us to ensure that it does. Would you rush a contribution to my campaign in the face of this news, so I can keep my seat blue and fight for a blue Georgia up and down the ballot?

This news is coming after Governor Kemp cut Georgia off from federal funding meant to help low-income families feed their kids during the summer for the SECOND year in a row.

Rather than do anything to support Georgians who need his help the most, Kemp is choosing to bow to partisan politics and rhetoric from the Trump administration around immigration.

Kemp is a coward, and our neighbors deserve better.

We have an opportunity to elect a Democratic governor in 2026, but we won’t be able to do that if Democrats down the ballot can’t turn out voters. It’s on me to ensure that Democrats in GA-06 and vote blue up and down the ballot.
