Friend,
The wildest forests in this country are places where you can walk for hours and hear nothing but birds, wind in the trees, and a stream rushing over rocks. These places feel like they've always been there, in that state. That's what's at stake right now.
The Trump administration is trying to roll back a policy called the Roadless Area Conservation Rule. It's a 2001 policy that's been protecting more than 58 million acres of our most pristine forests from road-building, logging, and mining. Without it, these places could be carved up and sold out to industry. Once that happens, we can't get them back.
Take action: tell the US Forest Service to keep this policy in place! |
