This is a sign that a racist protester held up as I spoke to the Arlington County School Board about keeping our girls safe.

Sadly, this is nothing new to me. I’ve borne venomous insults and been called so many horrible names throughout the years.

The “tolerant” Left will turn racist and ugly the instant a black woman decides to reject the Democrat party and embrace common sense. Liberals just can't wrap their heads around the fact that I dare to think differently, that I am not beholden to their political agenda simply because of the color of my skin.

I’m the sitting Lieutenant Governor, second in command in the former Capitol of the Confederate States. I’m an immigrant, a Marine, and above all, a human being. There is no place for this disgusting hatred in our nation. I won’t let their insults define me, and I certainly won’t let them slow me down!

I didn’t become the first black, female Lt. Governor of Virginia by playing the victim. I did it by embracing my conservative values and trusting in God!

Leftists can spew whatever racist nonsense they like, but I will win the race for Governor of Virginia with you on my side.

This is my call to action: Can you chip in to help us spread our positive conservative message?

Fighting back against the liberal media and the entire Democrat establishment is never easy, John. With patriots like you on my side, I know we will win in November and beyond.
