With only 125 women in the House of Representatives and just 26 in the Senate, women still hold only 28% of seats in Congress. Women are still paid just 83 cents for every dollar made by men, they still struggle to access essential reproductive care and affordable maternity leave, and they are still disproportionately likely to experience gender-based violence and harassment.
