Dear John,
I’m excited to introduce you to Brenda Aikin, the emcee for our annual benefit dinner, A Night for Advocacy! [[link removed]]
Brenda is a devoted wife, mom of four, and host of a popular daily radio show for Mater Dei, Portland’s Catholic radio station.
She was born and raised in California, where she met her husband at her church’s high school youth group. She went on to attend Humboldt State University (now Cal Poly Humboldt) in Northern California. Subsequently, she and her husband Scott (a Catholic deacon) have become rooted here in the Pacific Northwest.
Brenda joined Mater Dei in 2018 and began hosting her popular daily two-hour live radio show, The Morning Blend.
As our emcee for A Night for Advocacy [[link removed]], Brenda will guide us through an incredible evening of pro-life fellowship and inspiration.
A Night for Advocacy – which will take place Saturday, September 20th at the Salem Convention Center – exists to bring our pro-life community together and support Oregon Right to Life Education Foundation (ORTLEF).
ORTLEF carries out critical educational work across the state, informing Oregonians about the pro-life message, the humanity of the unborn, and the many amazing resources available to help moms and families choose life.
This year's keynote speakers will be Alan and Lisa Robertson from the hit TV series, Duck Dynasty.

I hope you’ll join Brenda and all of us at A Night for Advocacy this year!
Because everyone deserves an advocate,
