JOHN,
This week’s Good Idea came from a constituent in Cranston: companies shouldn’t be allowed to sell our personal data without giving us a choice.
And she’s right. Every day, corporations profit off our most personal information — what we buy, where we go, and even what we search online — without our consent. It’s wrong, and it’s time we take back control.
These are exactly the kinds of fights I want to keep bringing to Congress. If I stay in this seat, I can keep pushing to make sure we protect people’s data, lower costs, and fight for common-sense solutions that actually make life better.
But I can’t do that without your help. I’m up against opponents who don’t want these fights — because they’d rather protect corporate profits than protect your privacy.
That’s why I’m asking: will you contribute $ today to help me keep fighting for Good Ideas like this one in Congress? [[link removed]]

Together, we can stand up to corporate interests, take back control of our personal information, and make sure voices like yours are heard in Washington.
