First, Trump sent federal troops into D.C., claiming “crime was out of control.” But there was no crisis. He manufactured it to justify flooding the streets with armed officers. Now, he says he’ll send troops into Chicago. New York. Anywhere he thinks people won’t fight back.

And just yesterday, he went even further.

Trump signed an executive order demanding federal prosecution for anyone accused of “desecrating” the American flag — even though the Supreme Court has ruled it’s protected speech.

It doesn’t stop there. The order lets the attorney general go after protestors and even revoke visas from immigrants who dare to speak out. It’s an all-out assault on dissent.
