The 2025 Virginia election will shape our future for years to come. Since 2017, Democrats in Virginia have led the way forward on women’s rights, voting rights, Medicaid expansion, workers’ rights, collective bargaining, and reproductive freedom.
One of our proudest victories was ratifying the ERA in 2019, making Virginia the 38th state to do so. That momentum flipped Virginia blue with a trifecta, and proved the power of women and equality champions at the ballot box.
Now, we must do it again. The stakes could not be higher as we confront a dangerous, anti-women, anti-freedom backlash. Virginia has the chance to strike the first blow and say loud and clear: HELL NO.
