A new undercover video from Accuracy in Media exposes how an Ohio high school
counselor is actively advising parents on how to get around the law protecting
girls’ locker rooms, restrooms, and sports.
On hidden camera, Reading High School counselor Jennifer Leone told AIM
investigators that with an altered birth certificate -- and if the boy appeared
“female” -- he could use girls’ spaces.
“This is what the birth certificate says, prove that it’s wrong,” Leone said.
“Prove it.”
She went even further, saying the boy could use “she/her” pronouns, join
girls’ teams, and access female locker rooms. She even advised parents to keep
the child’s original male birth certificate a secret and not to “discuss it
outside these walls.”

But when AIM President Adam Guillette confronted Leone, she suddenly changed
her tune. She flatly denied ever advising parents to break the law. Even when
shown the video of her own lips moving, she refused to acknowledge her
statements, dodging with, “I am not allowed to comment.”
This is always the pattern… administrators say one thing privately, then deny
everything once they’re caught.
Ohio lawmakers passed these protections in 2024 for a reason: to keep girls
safe. But administrators like Leone are actively working behind closed doors to
undermine them.
