Dear A.,
Yesterday, the Israeli Air Force carried out major airstrikes against Yemen's Houthi-controlled capital of Sanaa.
The strikes follow near-weekly Houthi missile and drone attacks against the Jewish state, including a ballistic missile attack on Friday that used a cluster bomb warhead — a projectile designed to be more difficult to intercept.
Part of the cluster bomb struck a home in central Israel, damaging the home. Fortunately, the woman living there had reached her bomb shelter in time and was unharmed.
In a statement, the IDF

said the strikes in Sanaa targeted "a military site in which the presidency palace is located, the Adar and Hizaz power plants, and a site for storing fuel — all used for the military activity of the Houthi regime."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir oversaw the strike from the IAF’s command center in Tel Aviv.
“Whoever attacks us, we will attack him,” Netanyahu

said in a Hebrew video statement following the strikes. “Whoever plans to attack us — we attack him. I think the entire region is learning Israel’s strength and determination.”
“The Houthi terrorist regime is learning the hard way that it will pay and is paying a very heavy price for its aggression against Israel,” Netanyahu added.
Through AIPAC, you help ensure Israel has the resources needed to protect its families from Iran and its terrorist proxies.
U.N. fails to report significant Israeli efforts to increase aid into Gaza
Since May, Israel has facilitated 208,542 tons of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
But the U.N. only acknowledges 69,775 tons.
The U.N.'s data intentionally ignores the majority of aid into the Strip, including aid from donor countries, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), NGOs, and the private sector.
WSJ op-ed on "journalists" killed in Gaza
In a Wall Street Journal op-ed, best-selling author James Kirchick writes about the increased attention on the "unprecedented number of journalists killed in Gaza."
"What these men did wasn’t journalism, and claiming otherwise dishonors the real journalists who risk and sometimes lose their lives endeavoring to bring us the truth. To put people who celebrated or participated in the Oct. 7 attacks in the same category as journalists Daniel Pearl, Marie Colvin and James Foley is a disgrace.
"What’s being hyped as an unprecedented attack on journalists is actually a cynical salvo in an information war. By claiming that Israeli brutality is responsible for the deaths of a “record” number of “journalists” in Gaza, international press-freedom groups have committed a category error. The figure is high because the world has never seen a conflict in which so many people working on behalf of terrorist organizations have been disingenuously characterized as journalists by once-respected watchdog groups. The cause of international press freedom is undermined when its leading institutions launder jihadist martyrdom into journalistic sacrifice."

posted in a statement that we mourn the tragic loss of life at Nasser Hospital. Israel rightly admitted its mistake.
It’s been 689 days since Hamas brought this war upon Israel and the people of Gaza. We urge leaders to help end it by increasing the pressure on Hamas to free the hostages and surrender power.
