The Pentagon is preparing to send thousands of troops into Chicago.
Why? Because Democrat leadership has turned one of America’s greatest cities into a war zone. After President Trump declared a crime emergency in Washington, D.C., he made it clear: Chicago is next. And now federal officials are weighing mobilizing the National Guard and even active-duty troops as soon as September.
Think about that: our state is so broken under Brandon Johnson and J.B. Pritzker that it might take the U.S. military to restore order.
This is a national embarrassment, and it’s the direct result of Democrat failure. They’ve defunded police, coddled criminals, and left innocent families to suffer. Meanwhile, they mock Trump for doing what they refuse to do: protect Americans.
President Trump is ready to act. But here’s the truth: if Illinois Republicans don’t step up, the national media and Democrat machine will spin this as an “attack” instead of the lifesaving mission it is.
We cannot let them control the narrative. We cannot let them define Illinois.
