Friend – Trump’s Treasury secretary said the quiet part out loud:

Republicans are cooking up a secret backdoor for privatizing Social Security, which will:

* Turn your guaranteed retirement into a Wall Street gamble
* Let big banks and hedge funds play with your hard-earned money
* Weaken the system so it can “fail” – and they can sell it for parts

Privatization is just another word for stealing your benefits and handing them to Wall Street. If the idea disgusts you as much as it disgusts me, then please be one of the 15,000 supporters I'm counting on to sign my petition by 11:59 p.m. tonight.

Social Security is a promise the U.S. government made to all working Americans. To sell it out would be to SHRED that promise – and endanger every American's hope of retiring with dignity.

Not on my watch.

So we need to make it crystal clear that the American people won't stand for the Trump administration's pro-billionaire attacks on this critical lifeline.
