170 Days of Torture – It Must End . . .
ACLJ 35 Years of Victory – Your Donations Doubled

John,

Iranian police cuffed, blindfolded, and took Pastor Mojtaba to prison, where he endured 170 days of physical and psychological torture. Now he faces a return to prison.

Authorities seized the pastor while he met with fellow Christians. Iranian authorities were determined to make him an example and to ensure he suffered for converting to Christianity. Surviving meant fleeing to Turkey, where he is now threatened with deportation back to Iran.

If expelled to Iran, he will be facing a return to prison squalor – which means three more years of severe abuse and potential death. We can't let that happen.

Pastor Mojtaba's life and freedom hang in the balance.

The ACLJ is calling on the U.N. to take immediate action to stop any expulsion and secure Pastor Mojtaba's safety. We've also highlighted this Christian pastor's plight in a major report to the U.N. Human Rights Council on persecution in Turkey.

We have defended persecuted Christians before and won, including securing the release of American Pastor Andrew Brunson, who was falsely imprisoned in Turkey.

Sign our urgent petition today to demand immediate protection for Pastor Mojtaba. Time is critical – he could be deported at any moment.

Take action with us.
