“They (Hamas), need to disarm, leave, and never think they have a future in Gaza again. It is absurd that they would even suggest that they (Hamas) are the good guys, and that everybody else are the bad guys. These are the people that rape women in front of the families, that beheaded babies and put them in ovens, that mutilated the bodies of their victims even as their family members watched, and who burned elderly people as they sat in their wheel chairs and burned them in ovens in front of their family members, including their children. These are people who held hostages for over 700 days. And they have the audacity to think that anyone is blame but them…You want to talk about starvation and hunger? The hostages are starving. It is a tough situation, but Israel did not start it.”

Concealing The Truth of What is Actually Happening in Gaza
With Lenny Ben-David
Date: Wednesday, August 27, 2025
Time: 12 Noon, Eastern Standard Time, 7 p.m. Jerusalem Time
Fear of one’s very life at the hands of Hamas’ brutality is often the result of a journalist or a photographer filing an accurate report regarding what is going on in Gaza. Journalists and photographers living and working throughout Gaza have learned to fear Hamas’ repressive and fatal consequences for telling the truth. When asked if one can trust a journalist to convey the truth, one responded, “Never. They will report what Hamas wants them to write; photograph the pictures Hamas seeks.” A journalist from the New York Times refused to publish photographs indicating evidence of her source receiving Hamas pay slips or being a member listed on Hamas rosters. A New York Times columnist this week accused Israel of “assassinating” Al Jazeera newsman Anas al-Sharif because “Israel is making sure there is no one to document the horror of its war.” Journalists throughout the international community have come to rely on the inflated figures of the Gazan controlled Ministry of Health.
Come learn what is truly happening behind the scenes in Gaza, and how Hamas terrorists and thugs are in control of the information the media is using, which has resulted in an erosion of international policy in support of Israel.
About our Speaker: Lenny Ben-David is a Research and Senior Diplomacy Fellow at the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs.
