In June, MoveOn members marched with millions of other Americans on No Kings Day, just like they did when more than 3 MILLION turned out from coast to coast on April 5 as part of over 1,300 Hands Off! protests.
In July, we mobilized to protect Medicaid from the largest cuts since the program began, a reckless move by Senate Republicans that would strip health insurance from nearly 17 million Americans and cut SNAP benefits over the next decade.
This month, the work continues, as members join phone banks to spread the word about the disastrous effects of Trump’s budget bill and share action steps to fight back. The MoveOn community is fighting every moment to resist Trump’s agenda, contain the damage, defeat hate with activism, and begin the process of swinging the nation’s pendulum back toward sanity, decency, and the kind of future that we must never give up on.
