Anonymous,
The United States surpassed 2 million confirmed COVID-19 cases on June 10, and since then, new cases have continued to spike even higher. And in the middle of this growing crisis, health care workers on the frontlines are still struggling to get what they need to respond to the pandemic.
With the support of people like you, our advocates from across the country are organizing support for solutions that will help ensure our health care professionals have what they need to protect public health during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Donate today to help us continue our campaigns to get health care workers what they need to combat COVID-19, and to support all of our campaigns in the public interest. You can double your impact by donating before midnight tomorrow -- generous donors will match your contribution, up to $10,000 nationwide.

Whether it's critical service information for ventilators and other lifesaving machines, or personal protective equipment for nurses and doctors, or coronavirus tests for those who might be infected -- health care workers in the U.S. are still struggling to access what they need to contain the novel coronavirus.
We need to make sure our frontline workers have the information and supplies they need to respond to this public health crisis. That's why U.S. PIRG and our national network are:
* Standing up for medical device repair. Since March, more than 57,000 petition signers and 10 state treasurers and auditors have joined us in calling on ventilator manufacturers to release the service information, parts, tools and diagnostic software that biomedical repair experts need to fix these lifesaving devices. And in April, manufacturers GE, Medtronic, Fisher & Paykel, and Zoll loosened restrictions on vital service information.[1] But we still have a long way to go in removing the unnecessary obstacles that impede qualified technicians from repairing our medical devices. * Calling for a centralized system for distributing medical supplies. Health care workers still don't have enough of the personal protective equipment they need to protect themselves and their patients.[2] That's why U.S. PIRG and our national network are calling on Congress to pass the Medical Supply Transparency and Delivery Act to establish a centralized, transparent system for getting medical supplies to the areas where they're needed most. * Working to ramp up our testing capacity. Our country's inability to test on a large scale is inhibiting our ability to contain the COVID-19 outbreak and safely reopen. That's why U.S. PIRG is calling on the federal government to immediately adopt a plan to ramp up testing. Donate today >>
