Today, the Supreme Court upheld the constitutional right to abortion in an essential victory for women's reproductive rights.
This decision today affirms access to abortion must remain safe and legal. Though, had just one Justice voted differently, the outcome would have been the reverse.
We know this fight is far from over. Independent clinics across the country, like the one at the center of today’s case, remain under attack. With Trump confirming his 200th conservative judge just last week, we must remain vigilant in our efforts to protect Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to choose.
I'm proud to be endorsed by Planned Parenthood and I will continue to protect reproductive rights and access to health care.
With so much at stake, it's more important than ever we elect Joe Biden, retain a majority in the House and take back the Senate to continue to advance and protect freedoms. Continue to organize and activate ahead of this November's election. Get involved and speak out.
