Trump’s massive $500M civil fraud fine in AG Tish James’ case thrown out by NY appeals court

Per the ruling:

“...the court’s disgorgement order, which directs that defendants pay nearly half a billion dollars to the State of New York, is an excessive fine that violates the Eighth Amendment of the United States Constitution.”

As a proud New Yorker and defender of the Constitution, I fought tirelessly against this grave injustice from the moment this sham case was first announced.

• I filed a formal complaint against Judge Arthur Engoron for his inappropriate bias, judicial intemperance, and repeated violations of judicial ethics, including illegal political donations by his staff and unconstitutional gag orders that silenced President Trump.

• I supplemented this complaint multiple times to highlight the egregious misconduct that undermined public confidence in our courts and turned this trial into a political spectacle.

• I also filed formal complaints to disbar disgraceful New York Attorney General Letitia James for her blatant bias and highly inappropriate and prejudicial comments on social media related to this sham case.

I’m relieved that this case ended with President Trump’s complete and total vindication and that it was ultimately exposed for what it always was: a blatant abuse of power and weaponization of our judicial system to interfere in elections and silence political opponents.

But while the last of the major sham legal cases against President Trump from the 2024 election may have ended in our complete and total victory, the battle against LAWFARE is far from over.

As the Democrats' poll numbers continue to decline, they’re only going to get more and more desperate to find a way to stop us and implement their radical, Far Left agenda.

We MUST be prepared to FIGHT BACK the next time the Democrats’ lawfare strikes!

That is why I’m officially launching my brand-new “Lawfare Defense Fund” so we’re ready to defend President Trump – or any America First patriot – the next time the Left blatantly abuses their power to weaponize the law against one of their political opponents.
