** Act now to protest these new asylum regulations!
We need you to submit public comments about new federal regulations that will essentially eliminate U.S. asylum.

Also, the Immigration Justice Campaign has a recorded webinar about the proposed regulatory changes here ([link removed]) .
Here are some suggested statements you can use in your comments (but feel free to include any personal testimony you have had with asylum seekers or asylees):
- I disagree with the newly-filed "Procedures for Asylum and Withholding of Removal; Credible Fear and Reasonable Fear Review."
- Offering asylum to those in need is a critical part of America's heritage and culture.
- Do not allow these sweeping changes to prevent asylum-seekers from getting a fair hearing in the U.S.
- Do not allow "asylum-only" and "paperwork only" immigration courts.
- Do not create higher thresholds for credible fear or persecution.
